Visit Website

Weel is an Australian spend management platform built around virtual and physical Visa debit cards. Rather than requiring employees to spend personal funds and submit reimbursements, Weel allows finance teams to instantly issue cards to individuals, teams, or projects — each with built-in spending limits and approval workflows — giving control over company spend at the point of purchase. The platform also covers accounts payable, reimbursements, and SaaS subscription management, with real-time sync to accounting software.

■ Key Features

  • Instant virtual & physical corporate cards: Cards can be issued in seconds for employees, teams, projects, or subscriptions — each with configurable spend limits and policy controls — eliminating card sharing and unapproved spend.

  • AI-powered receipt capture: Weel's OCR automatically extracts GST, GL codes, and merchant data from receipts captured via the mobile app, removing manual expense entry.

  • Accounts payable automation: Bills approved for payment in Xero flow into Weel, and as each bill moves through approval and gets paid, the record updates in Xero in real time.

  • Reimbursements: Employees submit reimbursement requests via the mobile app; half of all reimbursements on Weel are paid within 24 hours.

  • Subscription management: Each SaaS subscription can be assigned its own virtual card, giving finance full visibility over recurring software costs and making cancellations or reassignments instant.

■ Who It's Best Suited For

  • Australian SMEs (typically 10–200 employees) looking to replace shared corporate cards, paper reimbursements, and manual reconciliation with a real-time card-first spend management system

  • Finance teams wanting proactive spend control — enforcing budgets and policies before transactions occur, not after

  • Organisations running Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks that want automated, coding-ready transaction data pushed to their accounting system

■ Integrates With

Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and all other accounting systems via CSV export. Cards supported via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
